We had a collapsed timetable for the whole day which enabled us to do all sorts of focused activities which would not fit into normal timetabled subject lessons.

We had visiting artists who put on plays such as “Time Tunnel”, Stuart Puttick came in to help year 8 with their map reading skills for orienteering and the Police came in to help set up our crime scene investigation in Science.

What our students said:

“A really nice change”

“Easier to understand the work”

“Really enjoyable”

“I’ve learnt so much”

What the staff said:

“There are no problems, only solutions”

“A problem shared is a problem solved”

“Its all about having fun and giving it a go”

“ Helped our Geography skills by making our map work better”
